GREETINGS FROM
THE DIRECTOR OF
GRADUATE PROGRAM

In this era of 100-year lifespans, creating a society where everyone can live healthily and with peace of mind has become a critical challenge. As individuals and families adopt increasingly diverse lifestyles, there’s a growing need for support that integrates healthcare and other forms of care into people’s daily lives and enables them to continue living the way they want. To respond to this environment, we need to visualize the tacit knowledge of nursing practice—which is hard to verbalize and consciously recognize—and to develop ways of using this knowledge in practice.

We invite you to pursue research at the graduate school level to explore questions arising from clinical and educational settings and help to advance nursing practice.

Let’s work together to help advance nursing science.

Kiyomi Hasegawa, Dean of the Graduate School
