FACILITY

Enhance your Red Cross Spirit and Practical Skills with Our Comprehensive Facilities and Equipment

In addition to well-equipped skills labs with a range of equipment, our campus features a variety of classrooms, including an information technology lab used for collecting information online, writing reports, and other tasks. Facilities also include a library with an attached Red Cross Archives Room, an auditorium with an LED display, a gym, and outdoor tennis courts.

Health Promotion Center Community Exchange Hub

We have established a permanent Red Cross exhibition room displaying historical materials related to Japanese Red Cross Society, including a first edition of A Memory of Solferino by Red Cross founder Henry Dunant. We also run a Health Promotion Center that provides resources for public lectures on community health initiatives, professional training sessions for medical personnel, and more.

Basic Nursing Skills Lab

This skills lab is equipped with facilities equivalent to those found in a real hospital. Here, students learn basic nursing techniques such as taking temperature and blood pressure, giving injections, and setting up IV drips.

Maternal and Child Health Nursing Skills Lab

This skills lab is designed to provide hands-on learning for maternal and infant nursing care, child health management, childcare guidance, and more.

Home Care and Public Health Skills Lab

This skills lab is designed to give students knowledge and skills in home care nursing and public health nursing. It features a Japanese-style room to simulate nursing care in a real home setting.

Adult and Gerontological Nursing Skills Lab

In this lab, students learn the nursing techniques they need to help adults and the elderly to lead independent daily lives. The facility features ICU beds and is well equipped with a range of biological simulators and measurement devices.

Learning Pods (Self-Study Spaces)

These self-study spaces are designed for group learning and meetings. You can find them on the fifth to seventh floors of the lecture building, where the faculty offices are located.

Auditorium

The Auditorium, which accommodates 584 people, is used mainly for events such as ceremonies. As part of our 20th anniversary commemorative project, an LED display was installed with the help of donations.

Academic Information Center and Library

The library houses about 57,000 books from Japan and overseas on nursing and related disciplines, along with audiovisual materials such as DVDs and e-books.

College Co-op Cafeteria and Convenience Store

The Co-op features a cafeteria-style system where you can choose your favorite dishes. Each dish includes nutritional information and calorie counts, allowing you to make balanced meal choices. The adjacent convenience store sells snacks, magazines, and stationery.
